Left my beloved Kraków now to set up in Brussels but this is by no means the end of my adventures with Polish. Linguistic confusion and cross-cultural misunderstandings still abound. I'm an interpreter, a translator, a musician, I'm learning to cook again and I miss my dog. I think that's got it covered, more or less.

Biedna Pinolona.....
The world is so absurd.
I am writing this in English just to show that I could quickly sketch myself crying "I want London, I want to live in London". Or greetin' "Will I ever see Auld Reekie?"
Chin up, anyway!
Yes, biedna Pinolona. Altogether now... 'Awwwww'.
Darth: the world is extremely weird, you should try Sevenoaks.
(Maybe the blogging in Polish thing was a bit of a rash decision)
I'm sure if you did sketch yourself weeping you would do it extremely eloquently. Where on earth did you pick up all the Scots expressions by the way??
Re "Where on earth did you pick up all the Scots expressions"
Back in the, ehm, oh gee, 90s, I so wanted to speak Scottish - for deeply personal reasons. Gaelic too hard, I went for Scots. [Or for what I thought Scots was, without Internet or dictionaries, an maist o me kennin fr' annotations on Burns, Edinburgh branch of Saltire Society's brochures or occasional letters from late prof. Aitken.
Those days are past now
And in the past they must remain :/
