All you need

We were just leaving my sister's flat: my sister, her fiance, her best friend/bridesmaid and me, when suddenly she stopped short:

- I've forgotten my phone!

- So what? said her friend: You don't actually need it. Everybody is here.

'Everybody is here'.

What do you think: who counts as 'everybody'? Who are the people that you really need the phone for?

Priest: Do you take this man to be your lawful husband...
Bride: Excuse me...(she reaches deep inside the billowing white folds below her waist. The digitized strains of Mozart mixed with the crowing of a rooster stop abruptly as she speaks again)...Hello? (short silence) ...can I get back to you? no, no, its OK, I'm not driving (she turns to the priest)...yes, yes, I do...listen Mildred...
Priest (tries to interrupt): I pronounce you...
Bride:...Mildred, you'll never believe this...(etc. etc.)

Good example, Ryszard.

You might need an incoming call, though. And as luck would have it, someone would be trying to phone you in an emergency and you couldn't answer because that would be the one and only time in the last six months that you didn't bring your phone along :-).
