... wearing three jumpers because my miserable Wizzair cabin baggage allowance only lets me take 10kg in a suitcase the size of a jumbo matchbox. Why oh why am I going on holiday to a country where the temperature is averaging around the minus 15 mark?!
All right, I'm going, I'm going!
did I leave the gas on??

Wizzair's baggage policy stinks. At Christmas, paying more to transport our suitcases than an extra family member, I felt ripped off and cheated by the Purple Knob-Ends.
Makes you wonder whether it's not worth paying the extra to fly BA and be treated like human beings.
My verification word is 'hoechimp!' (A computer made that one up?)
I usually do pay the extra and travel BA, especially if I'm flying from London. When you factor in the extra time and money spent travelling to outlying airports (an hour to Charleroi this morning and then two hours from Katowice) 'budget' airlines are hardly budget any more. Mind you, compared to Ryanair (40 euros to print your boarding pass at the airport if you forget to check in online), Wizzair are really not so bad...
I think BA have stopped flying to Krakow :(
You're in luck with your timing regarding the weather here in Kraków actually - it's been hovering about -20 for the past few days, but it's already warming up, to a maximum temperature tomorrow (Thurs) of -1!
Positively sweltering, I tell you...
